JOHN MICHAEL HENSON (Mike)
Mike holds an honours degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
After attending General Motors Institute (GMI) in Flint, Michigan, USA, Mike spent a number of years with General Motors Overseas Operations (GMOO) in the USA, Canada and the UK.
Following relocation to South Africa he has had 25 years of executive management experience in the field of sales, marketing and business management in both local and international companies.
International companies in he has worked include Rank Xerox, Computer Sciences Corporation, Pitney Bowes and Toshiba.
While maintaining a number of business interests Mike has, since 2003, been providing consultancy to a number of corporate environments with specific emphasis on business planning, operational marketing, sales motivation and the dynamics of distribution.
More recently he has been appointed as a director of THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA (FDA) and specializes in the facilitation of events, meetings and conferences both locally and internationally.
